What must be established before injection?
Ask whether the wall is stable, where the void extends and why soil has been lost. A product that fills space does not, by itself, establish that the wall, anchors or toe can resist the loads.
Require a scope naming the material, intended function, installation limits and verification method. Ask what is excluded, how leakage would be controlled and what happens if the site differs from the proposal.

Does injection avoid shoreline approval?
No automatic exemption should be assumed. Describe the method, locations and any drainage or excavation to Alabama Power before work. Environmental review and material suitability need to be resolved for the actual setting.
Do not accept claims of universal environmental safety, a fixed remaining life or a guaranteed structural cure without project-specific support. Compare the option with a repair to joints, drainage or the wall itself.
What should you ask before accepting a price?
- Which observed defect does injection address?
- What prevents continued soil loss?
- How will the contractor measure or verify the treatment?
- Does the price include drainage and surface restoration?
- What warranty exclusions apply?
- What condition would require stopping and redesigning?
Use the budget checklist to compare full scopes rather than a material price alone.
